Hello...I am looking for an inexpensive apartment in the Mesa/Tempe, Arizona area for my mother. She is on S.S., is in her late 60's, on AHCCCS and doesn't make very much...Below nine hundred a month. She has one dog, a Shih-Tzu, who weighs less that ten pounds. She is on the Section 8 list, but it could take a long time before she can get into a place-up to two years. I am hoping to find a nice, clean apartment for her and her dog Bailey, that is close to Tempe where I reside. She currently lives in East Mesa, and I would like to help her find a place that is closer to family. The trailer she is living in now is old/not in good condition. I am just wondering if there is something out there for older people, who don't make very much on their retirement, that the rent accomidates to what they get monthly? If anyone can tell me of any place like this, let me know? If you may have a condo. that you would like to rent out? My mother is a very clean(OCD type clean) person, she smokes but does so outside only, and her dog is her shadow. She will abide by all rules and regulations. It must be on ground level as she has health problems(back/disk problems,Fibro.)which make it difficult for her to go up many steps.
